I want to purchase Libre 2 for the first time. Abbott site states that I have to have diabetes mellitus to qualify for it. I am T2 on insulin. Not sure if I qualify? Anyone here in similar position?
 
Yes, you qualify, the full name for the most common diabetes is diabetes mellitus - there is also a much rarer version called diabetes insipidus. So you have Type 2 diabetes mellitus.
 
You have to fill in a declaration on the site when you check out to say you have Diabetes.

If you are Insulin, are you not entitled to them on the NHS?

You have to be injecting 2+ times a day, and meet other criteria, to qualify for libre on nhs as a type 2. One injection a day wouldn’t qualify.

True. Am T2 on 1 dose insulin but do not qualify!!
