I have obtained a copy of a report of the outcomes for the various vascular surgeons within the different Health Trusts. If anyone would like a copy please PM me and I will send you a copy

However, as with all things the devil is in the detail. The two I personally consider totally incompetent have good outcomes as they mainly treat varicose veins in otherwise healthy young women. My ex described one as creepy! I suspect they leave the more risky procedures such as treating abdominal aortic aneurysms and narrowed carotid arteries to their colleagues. Hence their colleagues have supposedly worse outcomes. In fact if you suffer an aortic aneurysm outside of a hospital your chances are less than 10%. A friend did because paramedics were just around the corner. In fact he fell down a while flight of stairs without injury! A very lucky man; 🙂
