after suffering months with resistant and super infections i am now in a position to get my 1st vaccine which is for this Friday at short notice. it will be first thing in the morning so over and done with then the fun really begins with questions will i be okay or sods law badly over the weekend.

i saw what happened with my partner and i just don't want to go that way out.

Fingers crossed you will have no serious side effects @mikeydt1 - good luck!

will i be okay or sods law badly over the weekend.

Had AZ vaccine, felt fine afterwards then flu like symptoms next day, only lasted 24 hours, wife was same. Interestingly MIL had her AZ & nowt, not even sore arm & she's 80.

I had the Pfizer and just a sore arm for a couple of days. I have jab no 2 on Thursday. I know identical twins who both had the AZ. One had no side effects, and one spent 2 days in bed. SO I guess nobody can predict the effect. Hope you feel fine.

We were both quite worried having our 2nd Pfizer as rumour informed us that more side effects with the 2nd Pfizer and vice versa with the AZ. Plus Son in law's mum had terrible side effects with her second Pfizer (literally took her legs from under her next day). So we had them last week - and no ill effects whatsoever for either of us.

Don’t know which one your having . I had A Z was off colour for 3 days, it was like when you start to feel off when flu is brewing and no energy. Then one morning it all disappeared. I hope dad and I will be getting our second one soon.

the place where i am going to thankfully is only a very short ride which is what i was hoping for.

i am going very early shopping Friday before i go just in case it makes me badly then i have a good few days of recovery and at least i will have stuff in without worrying.

go for my jab early this morning. dreading the unknown. making sure i get morning shopping in a little while then i have got a few days recovery.

I had my 2nd jab yesterday. Bit of a sore arm today but absolutely fine otherwise.

was a bit worried as i started itching and i do suffer with allergies. luckily i do have histamine to hand. it started when i more or less came out of the centre. nothing to be worried about though.

got a nice sore arm no headache, fever or flu symptoms.

i was in a way expecting the allergy reaction and it does say it can cause itchy skin.

I had my second on Thursday. Haven’t had anything but the mildest headache this time.

Very pleased to hear this!
I hear rumours that 2x AZs often follow my pattern, while some find 2x Pfizers seem to have more of a reaction after the second one.
