Although I have Dextrostix they only show sugar in urine or soft drinks in McD's, etc. (I have caught McD's out more than once, KFC, and a number pubs serving normal coke instead of requested diet coke! :( ). With my recent issues - drop off and recovery of eGFR, and infection issues I brought the above strips off Amazon. They test numerous parameters but the problem I have is the instructions and colour chart (on the side of the bottle are microscopically small. I cannot find my magnifying glass and a photo zoomed in becomes blurred! Has anybody used these strips? I think one reding is ot of range but cannot work out which one! :(

If you look on line you should find the colour chart which and it should then be possible to get it bigger on screen.
Usually it will specify at what time point you need to read the strip which will be important.
The ones we have have a separate card in the box which is much bigger than on the side of the pot./

Which is why I only have it, or a Coke Zero, if it comes in a bottle or a can when we eat out. I can't remember where I read that advice but I've followed it followed it ever since.

Sorry to hear you are finding it difficult to read the chart @MikeyBikey

Do you think if you contacted the manufacturers they might be able to send you a larger version that you could print out?

These afre the strips - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Test-Your-...13cd79515f5ce8b4b8703&psc=1&tag=googshopuk-21

I should have looked at the reviews. If I had I would not have brought them as there are a lot of complaints about the issue I have.

I thought I had worked then out and that I had high ketones although that was puzzling. I then ordered test strips for ketones that came today and it is not ketones! So what is it? I have discounted pregnancy!

Regarding what comes out of a pump in pubs. I’ve long suspected the wrong “Diet Coke” with no other factor in the equation? My normal evening sensor readings without have begged to differ. Some bars still do labelled bottles & even cans from the fridge.

You would need to compare the colour of each section of the strip with the colour chart which show what is a positive result and what would be negative.
If you still have infection then the most likely one to be positive would be leucocytes.

@MikeyBikey , I remember using urine test strips back in the “day?” From memory, they were a couple of millimetres square in pastel shades on the side of the pot. Not easy to match up without natural daylight.

That's a screenshot of one of the photo reviews when I clicked on your link - does it magnify any better?
