Relationship to Diabetes

Hi - I got my blood test results. I spoke over the phone, the receptionist looked and told me it came back normal.YIPEE. Then I made an appointment to see a doctor for next week.

What I liked is that she just made the appointment and didn't ask what it was for. I really hate it when they ask what your appointment is for, I would rather discuss that with the doctor...........

Just bumped into an old friend and had a good chat. I don't feel so bad that I had to move back in with family to save costs..... I am not the only one!!! If no work turns up by the late spring, I may have to let my place out.

I realise that my body was just getting used to the new medication. I have a routine as I don't like to take the meds all together at the same time. It didn't help to get a depressive episode at this point in time, however these things creep up on you, and I have my good and bad days. It's not the diabetes that get's me down, as I look as it as positive thing. It motivated me to lose weight, and a whole lot at that. Well that's my rant for now....

Clarification

I just re-read what I put. I meant that the positive aspect of me being diagnosed with diabetes is that is had allowed me to take my health more seriously. As a consequence of that, I have lost a lot of weight, and feel a lot more fitter. Yes, I have to watch what I eat, however it is being controlled.
There that sounds better

I will get there in the end🙂
