Hi again everyone, quick update, I'm one month in from being told my HbA1c was 109 and joining this forum feeling pretty desperate. Had telephone appt with my DN yesterday and when I read her my last 3 days BS readings which were all 7.5 or below she was amazed the numbers had dropped so quickly, the highest was 14 when I saw her. Finding low carb way of eating really suits me the biggest shock is no cravings or starving hungry all the time, its like a miracle. Quick question my morning fasting blood sugars are 6 at lowest, any tips for getting that number down a bit? I just take 500mg metformin twice a day as nurse said no need to take glyclazide. A big thank you to everyone who helped me as couldn't have done it without you. Feel so much better in myself eating low carb, loads more energy.
