The University of Birmingham today announces the launch of five new major studies aimed at improving the prevention, treatment and management of type 1 diabetes – with a particular focus on children and young adults.

Hi, yes they arrived within a couple of weeks. The kits came separately and you have to return them separately. The results came a few weeks later and fortunately my other 3 children are negative for the presence of the protein.

Two of my sons are type 1 and two of the other three sons and my single daughter all tested negative in this study. I didn't bother suggesting to my older 26 year old to sign up.

I used to work in academic clinical research and back in 2018 worked on data capture element of the Libre study by Lala Leelarathna.
It is vitally important we support these studies as however small they all work towards bigger successes.
