Most discussions on diabetes seem to assume the person is overweight. At present I am taking Metformin 500 twice per day. I am underweight so a low carb diet although logical may not be suiting me. I do feel good and don't suffer from any obvious problems. What is the best approach when underweight has any one got any suggestions?

Hi Alan, your original post on this has been moved to the general message board, where more people should get to see it. (A lot of people never visit the DVLA baord, if they don't drive.) I did you a reply there last night.
