Unbelivable Van insurance quote

I just had the biggest shock of my life , I've been driving for 20 years 2years ago my van insurance was ?400 last year everyone's went up and I payed ?700 I've just received an email telling me this year it will be !!! Wait for it ........ ?3068.34 somebody call me an ambulance I think I'm about to have a heart attack lol ,,, needless to say I won't be staying with them this year ...

I suggest you shop around 😱 Try a local broker as well. I've always found them cheaper than on line quotes.

The cheap internet online quotes cut everything out to get the price down. Hence on online quote for me can be ?200 cheaper than my broker. However, cover is not that good, lots of extra uninsured costs etc.

The flip side is, they load the premium for everything extra. The broker doesn't. The pricing is steady.

Basically an internet insurance quote is the barest of legal covers and they only want people who will not make any claims at all. The slightest thing out of the ordinary and it costs. They don't want your business.

My car, full comp from a local firm cost me ?157 no excess to pay either.
Nearest other quotes to that were hefty excess inclusive.

Merc veto with alloys & low profile 😱. & they are all down on the paperwork. I dont like ins so give them a hard time 😉
