well went to bed last night started feeling very strange and sick ...put it down to bit of cheesecake i ate (daughter working in posh bakery ...dont ask 🙄) tested myself expecting a very naughty high and 😱 3.9 re tested 4.1 ...ummm??? then was promptly very sick ...went back to bed and got up to morning test of 7.5 ....what was that all about ? feeling rough all day :(

my GP says i cant hypo .....

It's not quite a hypo am, but certainly at the low end on 'normal' range, and possibly much lower than you are used to. Hard to say whether it was the low blood sugar that made you feel ill, or if your BG was low because you felt ill! Hope you feel better soon, perhaps if it happens again you might need to get your doctor to review your meds?

lowest ive been since xmas 2009 when i got a 3.4 but i had been drinking sloe rum that night !! just putting it down to one of those weird things that happen 😎

Alan, you know when you have the Hypokit jab us T1's get, that makes your liver dump? - well it makes quite a lot of people throw up, the old lovely projectile jobbie. I mean if I just go down to 3 ish and get a dump I don't throw up, but just wondering if the liver doing it's thing could cause it if you weren't used to it doing that, like what we are?

Am I hope you're feeling better. Was the cheese cake very rich? Sounds nice, but if it is something you're not used to it may have an averse affect on your system.

Dear am It's horrible when you feel like that. Not sure if it was a hypo, or maybe a bit of food posioning( I don't mean anything bad about the posh bakery your daughter works in)😉 Or it could be the start of a nasty bug. Hope things are better for you soon. Take care Sheena x
