went to walk in center Wednesday as my hammer toe was all swollen nurse took one look at it and said it looks ulcerated you need to see the foot clinic at the hospital go home and they will call you. Got home and got a call with an app yesterday. went up hospital they cleaned it dressed it and took an xray they also put me on antibiotics I have to wear a special shoe they gave me I go back to foot clinic next thursday
 
Oh noooo. I hope it heals quickly. I have always found the NHS podiatry clinics brilliant.
Oh and those special shoes are so fashionable aren’t they .

I will keep my fingers crossed that you toe looks oh so much better on Thursday , please let us know how you get on.

I have had a few problems with my left foot but since I’ve been under the nhs podiatrists all problems have been dealt with exceptionally well .

Not nice @gail1 we have to be very careful with our feet. You took the correct action and got it correctly treated, hope it clears quickly for you.

Hope the antibiotics to the trick and you are back tapdancing and tripping the light fantastic in no time. :D
