A type of insulin that is used by majority of the diabetic patients in the country has been out of stock for about a month now in most pharmacies around the country.

Fijivillage has spoken to major pharmacies who said they only have certain types of insulin while some do not have any insulin at all.

They said that they are awaiting supply from the Government Pharmacy.

We contacted the Government Pharmacy who said that the mix tart 7030 insulin is out of stock.

"mix tart" :D 😱 :D

This one is closer to home, Valencia in Spain.

The country has a huge debt crisis and a chemist explains why they are down to their last packs of insulin and other life-saving drugs.

I know we moan when chemists get the prescription wrong but if we lived in Valencia, they do not have the insulin/drugs to get it wrong.
