Hi all.
After some advise.
I’ve recently been diagnosed with type 2 . I’ve just had to change from metformin to slow release metformin as it was giving me stomach pain.
I have high blood pressure which is under control with tablets. But I’ve noticed the past few days my wee is foamy. Should I be worried?
All very new and still learning lots
Many thanks

Can be caused by dehydration or indication of protein in urine or somebody put something soapy in your loo.
I would monitor it and if still worried contact your diabetic nurse. They may want to do a urine test.
I must admit nobody has mentioned that as being a side effect of metformin.
