type 2 with high readings

hi. i am new on here but have had type 2 for about 25 years on medication. meformin 1000 twice a day and glimeperide at lunch time. i have read difficulty getting my numbers down to a good level, most are over 10. i have two teenage boys who like me. like their food. i dont mind cooking two meals but i cannot find recipes for 1 person. they are all 4 or 6 people and it is difficult to divide them into 1 person meals and the ingredients are not good for freezing. does anyone know of a 1 person recipe book
