Type 2 since 2001

I have been type 2 diabetic since 2002 - had gestational diabetes with my second son 4 years earlier no one said it would come back disappeared once I gave birth.

No help no understanding why me?

15 years later lots of help the internet fantastic tool to search for everything, Diabetes UK online, forums.

I am now on Insulin as well as oral medication my blood sugars are ok not perfect will be interesting to see what my latest Hb1c.

Hiya - they now test HbA1c annually for anyone who has GD so that shouldn't happen these days.

How was yours diagnosed?
