Hi! I have just been diagnosed with Diabetes type 2. I was pre-diabetic in 2014 and no one told me. I have multiple health issues (EDS, POTS, MCAD, Secondary Adrenal and Thyroid Deficiency, Sociosis, IBS, Neuropathy, Gastroparesis, Dysautonomia etc) and since 2017 have been taking hydrocortisone for the secondary adrenal insufficiency. I've felt more unwell in the last 18 months after transsphenoidal surgery to remove a pituitary tumour. The last few HbA1c tests have been 50-52 mmol.
I've been told by my GP today that I don't need any meds and will test again in six months. Is this normal procedure? I am to have a liver ultrasound as my recent liver tests have been abnormal.
