I was wondering if there is a helpful guide anywhere that details how quickly, say a sulfonylurea such a Gliclazide, becomes effective and for how long it stays being effective.

I'm aware that some of the sulfonylurea drugs have a longer duration of activity then others, and that some have a slower onset compared to others.
