Type 2
Hi
I recently had bloods taken and the results were 83. Pervious they were 109 3 months ago. Can anyone tell me what these numbers mean? Also if they are getting better. I've been quite worried.

They're (almost surely) HbA1c, and lower is better. Under 42 is normal, 48 and over is diabetic. 109 and 83 are plausible values, and such a fall would indicate an improvement (with some way to go).

Thanks very much.
