Type 1 support group in Worcestershire

Hi all, there is a new type 1 support group starting up in Worcestershire in January, if anyone lives locally and would like to make new friends or just feel supported then it's at the Waitrose Community room on the London Road, Thursday 23rd January at 7pm, I am going so it would be nice to make some new type 1 friends in the area as to be honest I don't know any other type 1's !!
 
I'm not from Worcestershire but I wish you all the best with the support group. If there is anything I can do to help then please let me know - Keep us updated on how it goes.
 
Thank you David, there was one in the area here a long time ago so unsure what happened to it, my nurse is telling her type 1 patients but unsure how many will come along, Diabetes UK is supporting it so they are helping spread the word, would just be nice to see 'real' people and find out how others cope.
