Hi
I’ve now been type 1 for nearly 49 years so I’ve seen a lot of changes in treatment.
All that time ago I remember an article, in Balance, about the first insulin pump; it filled a room! Amazing now that I’ve been on Omnipod for just over a year; I never expected that all those years ago.
Still trying things out and soon swapping to Dexcom g6 from libre 2 plus (not working out well for me with hybrid closed loop).
I’m also a member of one of the Diabetes UK steering groups which is really interesting. Glad to now be on this forum.

Not far behind you in years with condition @CMA

Omnipod5 user myself paired with Dexcom G6, think Dexcom is much more reliable & accurate sensor than Libre.

Welcome to the forum @CMA

And thanks for the volunteering work you do for DUK 🙂

Our ex-admin @Northerner used to occasionally post this image of a snazzy compact insulin pump from yesteryear as a reminder of how fast things have changed!
