Type 1
5.5yr old type 1 diabetes for sale...

Intermittently perfectly well behaved, however more often than not unpredictable and spontaneous. Prone to mood swings. Loves hot weather, hates carbs, erratic responses to exercise - Certain to keep any owner on their toes.

Would consider swap for a well behaved type 1 with no history of mood swings!

Open to all offers... will happily pay postage or deliver by hand

I think I have it's twin . Thanks for the offer but one is enough to contend with :D

I'll swap you for 2 year old LADA with pancreas that likes to occasionally chuck out some insulin causing crashing hypos then subsequent highs? I'll even send first class.

Whilst v tempting I'm after a more sedate version! Feel free to advertise yours though 🙂

I'm still holding out hope for @Northerner 's type 1 or a similar...

(oh how a girl can dream haha)

Well, given that this is my tenth year I think I have to pass it on or something (they said something about a cure in ten years), I'll put you down for mine 😉 Don't want to swap though! 😱 😉

Oy Alan! They owe me Sue and Hobie at least 14 cures between us before you get one. If you think any of us is just going to stand in the bloody queue for another 40 or 50 years and let YOU podge in in front of us when you've only had it about 5 minutes - I can assure you - you have another think coming. Mate.

Kids!

No thanks but a type 2 free to a good home, it only wants to be loved, treated kindly and have a long life

Thing is though, Jenny, yours and Sue's is an 'old' diabetes - it probably expects three inch, freshly-boiled needles and pee sticks in a new person - mine is relatively fresh and modern, so that's the type that gets cured these days (I was told) 😉 😱 :D

I have just had to Report a post I've just read, as vicious spam.

I do hope the perp will receive the appropriate punishment.

I should jolly well hope so, too. No more than they deserve.

Hope their black eyes and the damaged shins don't take too short a time to heal and they succeed in removing the knife out of his back eventually. (It was my best Sabatier and I shall miss it)

It only hurts when I laugh 😉 :D
