Any ideas please.. son 24 diabetic for 4 years, found very hard to accept doing much better last few months but had stomach bug and not recovered. Lots of tests, Drs didn’t find anything think just take time to recover, need to keep up better management,on meds, but has stomach pain 24/7 which worries me, feel helpless, any suggestions to help ? Thank you

So he's T1 yes?
Other than the stomach bug how's he been doing?
What meds/insulin is he on?

Has he had coeliac disease ruled out? If so, sometimes a stomach bug can really mess with the digestion eg causing temporary lactose intolerance, etc. Could he try some probiotics? Keeping a food diary will show him what foods might be making him feel worse.

I’m going to try and find out, seems any food and constant pain

Shouldn't have pain 24/7, in your sons situation would be looking for second opinion from other consultant, even at another hospital, specifically one that specialises in gastroenterology.

Sorry to hear about your son’s stomach pain. Has he been checked for Crohns disease?

Hope the symptoms ease, and the tests shed some light on what’s behind it.
