Hello everyone. Can someone please tell me how to turn off email notifications for replies? Thanks.
 
Click on your profile name at the top right of the screen just below the helpline number and select preferences.
Then uncheck the relevant boxes under "content options" Hope that sorts it for you.

Sorry to hear you are getting a few too many notifications @Funnyday

You should be able to reduce them under your user control panel (click your avatar in the top bar above the forum. Then choose ‘preferences’

Then you should be able to unset automatic following ‘watching’ of threads you contribute to

And further down there are lots of notifications you can disable if you prefer…

Did you click on the blue save button at the bottom after you deselected email notifications? If not, try that.
 
I have known things like this to not actually take effect until after I turn the internet and my computer off at night and then restart it the next morning. However, thought that glitch had been corrected by Microsoft by now.

You may also need to ‘unwatch’ threads that you have been automatically subscribed to (before you updated your preferences)?

I don't mind email notifications, it was the constant beeping on my mobile that was driving me to distraction. I think I switched everything off now in an attempt to stop the beeps. Y'all can't half gab! :rofl:

I wonder if you still have that as a ‘watched’ thread @Funnyday ?

Go to the Heebie-Jeebies thread, and look top-right just under the title. There will be a ‘watch’ / ‘unwatch’ button. Make sure it is set as unwatched. 🙂
