I read somewhere that Turmeric can be beneficial for glucose control. Has anyone ever tried and if so do they think it made any difference at all? It also mentioned beneficial to aid good Cholesterol levels.
 
I think the lack of response tells you all. The subject has been brought up before and the consensus was that the claims were more marketing nonsense than anything else.

Thanks @Docb i did wonder if snake oil.
 
I do use turmeric in my cooking and find it good for making a change in flavours, making it easier to stick to the low carb diet regime. I use a fair few different herbs and spices, and really enjoy the tastes.
