It's Tuesday!

Which reminds me that Iceland frozen food stores give a 10% discount to over 60s on a Tuesday ...... well, every little helps

A lot of their products are not suitable - things like ice cream, pizzas, chips, food in batter & sauces
But they do have other items - plain fish, plain veg or combinations for steaming & stir frying, fruit & berries; though you'll probably need to have a rummage through the freezers to find just what they have
They also have fresh fruit & veg, and other items, though not as extensive as a large supermarket

I asked and was told that this discount will continue for the forseeable future
And I think this discount applies on everything, including offers & reduced items
But you need to take proof of age; I use my bus pass.

Not sure I'd agree about their food not being suitable, I guess it depends on what diet you are on, I eat all of them, but it is a good offer.

Personally never been an Iceland fan.
We started using them at the start of lockdown as they were the only shop we could get prompt delivery. You did have to be selective but most of what we had was OK. Not used so much now, I'm not sure why as they are just near the Aldi we go to.
