TSlim mobile app on the way

Just received an email from Air Liquide saying the TSlim mobile app will become available in the UK in a few days allowing users to control the pump/ deliver boluses etc from the app.

Users will be sent an activation email to update TSlim pump next week.

Good stuff! No more fishing around for my pump on my waistband.

That is great news.
I have had an app for my pump for a few years and consider it one of the benefits to fishing around for a tubed pump or digging around my bag for the PDM (and probably losing it).
I am one of theose people who always have their phone with them (but not one of those people who always has their nose stuck in their phones) and find it very convenient to have email, map, camera, news, clock, alarm, ... and diabetes management all in one place.
It still surprises me when if rings!

Ah that’s interesting @Flower

That was due ‘soon’ for the whole time I was on tSlim, up until last Summer. Glad it is finally coming out.

Its been a long wait. Hope the APP referral is better than LLoyds Clinical. Received an invite to manage my monthly injection through the APP, with a link to follow. The link opens the APP with 2 options to register. 1 click on the link in the invite - there was only one link, 2 call Patient Services where you have 10 options to select from, select new customer and you get a choice of the same 10 options.....

Yes, my Dana pumps have had an app for a number of years too. I only ever touch my pump to change the insulin, as I use the app for everything, including changing my basal rates, temp basals, changing basal profiles, as well as the obvious bolusing. I’d find it very weird now to have a pump that didn’t allow me to control it from an app!

I wish they would allow this for the omnipod 5. The tech in the device itself is so slow and clunky. And carrying two devices about is not ideal.

Hopefully they roll out the Tslim app soon.

The mobile app was ‘just around the corner’ when I changed to TSlim 2 1/2 years back.

I am looking forward to bolusing from my phone, I’ve worn a few belt loops out taking my pump on & off.

Data is uploaded to Tandem Source a diabetes management platform & apparently it will be easy to share with clinics. Here’s hoping…

Fingers crossed! <3
