Trying to decode Egfr reuslts

Hi Mr Singh, Bearing in mind I have no medical training, and my knowledge is based on a printout I got from the diabetes nurse at my last reivew, eGFR is a test of kidney function, from a blood test.

I've googled and found some information on the Kidney Foundation website which talks through what they mean. If you're concerned, it's probably worth making an appointment with the diabetes nurse at your practice, or phoning the Diabetes UK helpline and asking someone there if they can help you decode what it means. I believe they have some nurses on the staff who will be able to offer better advice than me.
Best wishes, Sarah
Welcome to the forum, buy the way.

eGFR is an estimate of how effectively your kidneys are working to filter waste products.

There's a description of the test on this page, and some hints about how to keep your kidneys in tip-top shape. 🙂
