Anyone else had any experience of this injection? I had my first one on Sunday, have had severe vomiting & feel so ill. I’ve been prescribed Cyclizine but not helping as much as I’d like. Wondering how long the side effects are going to last. My GP has made a decision straight away to change the treatment so I won’t be taking another one.
 
Commonly, the worst of the side effects last two or three days, so things should settle quite quickly. If that doesn’t happen, contact your doctor. As with any vomiting illness, dehydration is the risk.
 
I was really bad the first time I took it but not had any problems since and been on it 18 months
