Trulicity

Hi, I’m relatively new to this site, but have been Type 2 for what seems like an eternity.
Recently, my health nurse prescribed Trulicity for me. This did have some benefits, but made me violently sick and I ended up having to come off it.
Is there anyone who has had experience with this drug?

Sorry you had a bit of a rough ride with Trulicity

From what I can gather, a little nausea and stomach upset is not uncommon, but some people seem to get a more severe reaction than others. I think some members found it was helpful to start on a low dose, then increase very gradually.

Thanks. I’ve not been back to the nurse as yet to see what my options are. Staff shortages (Covid related apparently) so haven’t been able to get an appointment.
