A Trowbridge mum is helping to organise a fun day for a diabetes charity next month, with friends from a diabetes forum set up by her daughter.
Donna-Michelle Donkin, 35, and her 10-year-old daughter Cerys-Anne Blake set up The Insulin Gang on Facebook to contact other sufferers and their families.
The fun day will be held at the White Horse Country Park, Westbury, from noon until 4pm on July 14, raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Alongside a magic show from Buttons the Clown, there will be pony rides, games and face-painting, a teddy tombola and live music from local band Hot Flex.
