Trio App - anyone using?

I have been using the Omnipod Dash and Dexcom G6 with the Trio App (previously iAPS) and wanting to connect with any other users and hear about their experiences.

Mine has been pretty positive, have only been on the pump for a year and went pretty much straight away to iAPS and am running closed loop system. I still do announce carbs rather than relying on the unannounced meal feature but have found it to be simple to use and effective with my pump and CGM.

Just interested to hear about other experiences/learn about how others are potentially using it!

I’ve been using Loop with the Omnipod Dash and previously the G6, now G7. I’m about to do my research and hopefully move over to Trio, currently with Loop I’m 96% or more in range, but Trio appeals to me in terms of its layout and learning algorithm.

I started DIY looping with Loop December 2023 and switched to Trio September 2024, so not quite a year yet. I haven't quite reached the 90% TIR yet, though close around 87% over a 3 month period. Recently made a few chsnges to settings and getting more days with 95% and a few 100% days. Currently using the dev 0.5.1 version of Trio. Much better interface and very happy with things. One of the main benefits for me is setting a profile for when running, that helps me keep an almost level glucose, then an after running profile that keeps me from spiking post run. I'm using Omnipod Dash with FreeStyle Libre 2+.
