Okayyyyy, so have had great reading all week i decided to have a indian takeaway lastnight. Im now learning that these foods are not good for me as my levels are high.

Hi. It might just be part of the meal that's causing high levels.
What did you have to eat and how high are you.
Sorry I don't know what insulin regime you are on

Roti and chipati

Cereal before bed.

Morning level 12.9. Low all week.

I find the problem with takeaways for me is portion size. There is always a lot more than I usually eat, so I nearly always end up underestimating the amount of insulin needed to cover it.

@CraigLucywebb , I was wondering the same.
Have you been taught about correction doses.

sorry I can't remember the name others here will know for sure, their is an app and a book (think it's called "Carbs and cals) that can help you work out the amount of carbs in meals inc meals out. to assist in bolus dosing.

Probably the roti, chapatti and cereal that did it. If I have a takeaway I normally have the tandoori platter i.e. kebabs and chicken tika with salad.
