I reduced my tresiba from 24u to 22u 3 days ago - can I reduce it again tomorrow? I keep having hypos - this is what my dsn seems to do

The fact your asking makes it seem as if you aren't confident in making changes yourself, personally I would but I've been adjusting my own insulin since a few months after I was diagnosed so I'm confident in doing so and know what I'm doing but if you aren't then it may be better to chat to your DSN xx

Hi @Kaylz I made the reduction few days ago so I've now decided I'm going to do it again or I'm going to look like a jelly baby lol

I always left 7 days on tresiba because each dose lasts 3 days, and then it takes a few more days to settle and see the effect. But, if you’re having lots of hypos then it won’t do any harm to reduce it further. Just keep a log of doses, days and bgs, and look out for any trends. You can always increase it back if in a weeks time you’re high all the time.
