why trending when some have been locked for a long time?
 
All the threads in the trending content list are active threads with, in some cases, thousands of posts. The date listed is the date that thread was created so you can see that these are very very very active.

I find it so amazing that threads started all those years ago have continued to thrive. Just goes to show how amazing this forum really is. <3
