I want to buy a case/bag into which I can put all my diabetic supplies and spares. Please can anyone recommend anything?

Are you looking for something for a long trip or to carry around day to day?

For day to day, my recommendation is a pencil case or toilet bag.
For longer term travel, I use a cloth bag as it is easy to pack in my hand luggage.

I would not waste money on an expensive dedicated diabetes case.
In my experience, diabetes kit is robust so I have never needed a strong case.

I have a backpack handbag that all my gear goes in for everyday use. It has lots of pockets and pouches to pack different bits of kit in like Libre reader and hypo treatments and needles and test kit and phone and money/bank cards/glasses etc and it leaves my hands free for other stuff.

Hi @barbie3 If you mean while travelling rather than just for your daily supplies when out, I bought a great medical kitbag from Diabetes U.K. some years ago. They don’t seem to stock it anymore but this one is similar:

It has an out mesh pocket for your Frio and internal pockets for all your stuff. Mine was made out of durable thick canvas-y type material and was ideal to take on a plane as an extra medical bag.

I wouldn’t put all your spares with all your main kit. Especially for travelling I’d put some kit in your suitcase when you’re off the plane and some in your backpack. Just in case your backpack was stolen.

For say to say I use an Apple Pencil case (well a case for similar styluses, was about £5)

I use a wash bag for my main supplies when travelling, and split it between two if travelling with someone else, in case one of us loses our hand luggage.

For day to day I use a back pack most of the time and have test kit and jelly babies in a set place. I take more stuff if going to be more than 1 hour from home (either distance or nature of activities) that goes in as another bag which I can just grab if needed.
