At long last we are going on a cruise in May 2yrs later than planned. I would welcome advice on what I need to do/think about . We are away for a week.

Sorry should have said been type 1 for 5yrs. Sugars generally ok.No other underlying conditions.

Wow! Fantastic!

Things to do/think about
- take at least twice as much of everything than you think you may need
- split it over multiple bags in case one gets lost
- do extra testing whilst away - you will be eating differently to usual and your activities will be different and these may affect your levels. If you don't have a Libre, this may be a good time to request a trial if you have a compatible phone
- depending where you are going, you may need to think about keeping your insulin cool. I usually take my insulin ion a Frio wallet when I go somewhere hot.
- have an amazing time.

I take a list of medication printed out by doctor. I have a Libre 2. Wondered if there were any issues going through security etc

Absolutely no problems with Libre.
My sensors have been through many airport security scanners without anyone noticing and without the sensor being affected.

You may want to put your insulin in a clear plastic bag as it is liquid so some overly officious security chap may get upset. At airports, I find it varies although most don't question it.
