Charitable staff and shoppers at Sleaford’s Tesco store have helped place the branch third in the region in a company-wide fundraiser.
The Tesco Sleaford Superstore, in Northgate, has raised more than £8,700 in the first 12 months of a partnership between the supermarket chain and Diabetes UK.
The sum, £8,731.22 in all, is the third largest in the East Midlands, behind Tesco Market Rasen Superstore on £10,547.77 and Tesco Lincoln Superstore on £9,795.38. Nationally, £10 million has been raised through the partnership.
