I feel battered, shattered and exhausted as if I have done a two hour workout in the gym but I have not. So what have I been doing? I changed the bed!

I suspect I could do it from the wheelchair if I could access all sides but I live in a small one-bed flat so it is not an option. The only way I can reach the other side without constantly falling over the bed is to put on my prothesis. Even this is awkward for room as I cannot bend my knee at right angles as the socket comes up high behind the knee as there is not al lot below the knee following revision surgery..

Half way through I was cursing the person who cancelled the angioplasty and bypass (behind the knee of my remaining leg) over-riding more junior colleagues saying he did not intervene unless there was gangrene or ulcers. Then when I got an ulcer at the start of lockdown my appointment had been cancelled and I was not seem for four months as doctors and consultants hid. The true heroes were the podiatrists and nurses who put their trust (in often iffy PPE) and saw me! Grr....
