NHS Tayside has come under fire for offering controversial homeopathy treatment.
The health board has a homeopathy clinic based at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Dundee, and leaflets about the service claim the medicine stimulates the body to heal itself, with 70% of patients experiencing some improvement.
It also says that 40% of patients see a ?moderate to good improvement?.
But the controversial alternative medicine has been blasted by a number of medical professionals, with England?s top doctor describing homeopathy as ?rubbish?.

Surely homeopathy is just the placebo effect, which can have a genuine impact, as shown in the recent Horizon programme? But you don't need the (probably) expensive 'medicines', just scented/flavoured/plain water?
