Morning all.

I think this is the first time I’ve had an infection / been poorly since getting type 1

Antibiotics have been ordered.

Will be interesting if I notice a difference in my levels 🙂

@Jimmy2202 sorry that you are under the weather.
Keep a close eye on your levels. I find high and low blood sugars can emphasise any sickness, ache, twinge, cough, etc. So, I make an extra effort to bring my levels into target when unwell. It makes me feel better and reduces the recovery period because my body is not fighting so hard.

I recently received an email from Diabetes UK to say they had updated their sick day rules. I guess this is the page https://www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/life-with-diabetes/illness. Might be useful as a reminder.

Take care of yourself, rest and hope you feel better soon.

Thanks @helli

I’ll have a read now - it’ll give me something to do 🙂
