so - I went to see black swan tonight - and as my figures had been rather good all week I treated myself to ice cream - a tub of ben and jerrys caramel! went for one of the prepacked ones as they usually put about 3 scoops worth in even the smaller tubs!

was yummy - and the film was just incredible!

Glad you enjoyed it, and the ice-cream, you've got to have a treat every now and then 🙂 I would like to see that film - I'm a great lover of ballet, largely due to the time I spent in Russia. If anyone would like to read an incredible true story about ballet +diabetes, I'd recommend The Sugarless Plum, about a principal dancer at the New York ballet who develops Type 1 and manages to continue in one of the hardest and most physical of professions imaginable - incredible! 🙂

ooooh Caff.... how lovely .... a great film and some ice cream!!! how were your BG figures this morning?

it is always good to have a little treat now and again 🙂

reading this morning was fine!
Glad you enjoyed the show and the treat. We all need a guilt-free day occasionally.

Next time you try an ice-cream tub, if it's not a guilt-free day, try a test one hour later instead of just the next morning. If the result is just as good, no further need for guilt. But if not, you might consider an alternative treat in future.

I did consider bringing the tester - but it would have been a bit awkward testing in the middle of the film!

my reading on getting back was fine too - but that was about 4 hours after eating it! 😉
