so i was testing before my dinner at acording to blood metter i was 3.8 i got confussed becuause i thought thats wired i was 9 not that long again(reliseed after that was actully 3 hours ago plus i have moved about) but did too extrachecks and there were 4.4 and 4.2 so i ended up more confussed of not knowing weather its low or not i ended up treating like i was and hand of couple of glugose tablets anyway(don't know weather felt or not as have a cold which is making me feel wired anyway) this was finger picks(i don't actully have sesor again at the moment and waiting for some more. i must b doing something wrong with them)

No meter is completely accuracy so all those numbers 3.8 4.2 4.4 means the same thing, your levels aren’t dangerously low but on the low side and it’s time for some food.

i was told that anything below 4 was a hypo so treet it.

A meter calibrated to ISO standards says they should provide results 95% of the time,
within +/- 0.83 mmol/L of laboratory results at concentrations of under 4.2 mmol/L
within +/-20%of laboratory results at concentrations of 4.2 mmol/L or more

So a "4" can be anything from 3.17 to 4.83 in realty, and that's just the target!

And 5% of the time they can be further out than those ranges too! If you would treat a 3.9 but not treating a 4.2, given both had the same feeling physically, then you’re being too binary and expecting too much accuracy from your meter. You need to take context into account - how you feel, when you last took insulin, what you’re doing or about to do, etc.
