Hi Guys, not sure if im in the right forum here, not been on here for a few years,

What I want to ask is, I have gone low carb again, but have trouble, what do you guys use for constipation, I have heard Psyllium Husk is very good, do you add it to water, if so how much, or do you put it in or on your meals.

TIA x x

I think a few people use Psyllium husk or Chia seeds either in or on foods like yoghurt or incorporated into a drink.
The other thing to try is fibogel from the pharmacy. Making sure you drink plenty as well helps as will plenty of green veg.

How much veg are you eating? If you’re eating a well balanced diet with plenty of veg, bit of fruit, eating whole grains and pulses then it would be unlikely to have constipation. Either your diet may be lacking in something eg not enough fibrous foods and water or it would be wise to speak to your doctor.
