went back to foot clinic to be told that I have an infection in the bone have got to go back once a fortnight for the next 6 weeks and then have another xray doctor said he was going to change my insulin to a longer acting one and to get my bg to under 10

Oh, Gail, big hugs. Hope change of insulin works well at reducing bgs.

Gail I am so sorry to hear this. I hope they can treat it relatively easily and that your new insulin sorts out your BG levels. Hugs x

Wishing you well Gail x

Really sorry to hear this @gail1. I’ve a T1 friend who I met through Twitter who has had a foot ulcer that infected bones in the foot. He had IV antibiotics in the end... and has managed to get through it now, with no more infection.

Hope you can get good treatment with a positive outcome.

Good luck with it.

Hope you feel okay xx

Hope the treatment works and the infection clears up soon Gail. X

Not nice Gail hopefully your treatment will help {{{HUGS}}}.
