I always find it helpful to write/type how I am feeling. I personally find it easier than verbalising. What I do do though is write it down and then read it back to myself, out loud. Sometimes, it doesn't sound as horrible or negative as it felt in my mind. Other times, it does feel as awful as it sounded in my head but I have made progress in being able to articulate what I once couldn't. Virtual hugs to you @gail2 :care:
