I'm up for it but keep forgetting to inject 🙄

I have found improvement when I've remembered to bolus at some point before eating.

If it keeps working, it'll give him a great head start in his health.

Bev's 15 rule for hypo is great, luv it, it works when I manage to stick to it that is!

Hmm 15 mins before eating, that could be tricky but I will try having read all these words, lately I've been forgetting to inject till half an hour afterwards, bit busy of late, must sort out, esp with review coming up!

Great thread cheers

Rossi🙂

Other things I learnt:

- the GI value of a food is the % of carbs that are absorbed within 2 hours of eating
- Americans work in 'cup' sizes. The average woman's fist is equivalent to 1 cup. One cup of cooked pasta contains 40g carbs, rice is 50g per cup, icecream is 35g per cup, cooked veg is 10g per cup, salad is 5g per cup (please note this is what Gary Scheiner says).
