had 1/2 tin small tuna in water Does anyone know the carb/cal count. Cant find it in the book

no doing itmyself

Ok, well unless it’s in a sauce, it will be as close to zero as makes no difference 🙂

If you look on an online grocery site like Tesco or Sainsbury, you can look up food items and see the nutritional info for them.

thanks

Its in the Carb & Calorie counter book.
Page 186 - Tuna (tinned in brine)
70g half tin = 0g carbs, 76cal, 17g protein, 1g fat, 0g satfat, 0g fibre.
140g full tin = 0g carbs, 153cal, 35g protein, 1g fat, 0g satfat, 0g fibre.

NB: Tinned in oil, still no carb/fibre, slightly more cals, protein and fat.
Cheers

Tuna in water is Nil carbs - being as it's all fish, it's practically all protein (with a tiddly bit of fat and even less of a bit of trace elements and minerals. Nob all that requires carb counting!
