Hi all have recently changed over from a mixed insulin regime (Humalin) to a bolus/basal one (humalog/lantus) ever since then my legs have had a really weird, tingly numb sensation. My fast acting doses are currently very low and my sugars have gone up whilst they try and balance me, could this be a reason?

Just a bit of a worry because I am aware Diabetes can damage nerves etc

It could just be because your levels are higher than you are used to - I can sometimes get pains in my feet if I have been running higher than normal. Hopefully it is something temporary and once your insulin doses have been sorted out better it will disappear. If it persists then speak to your doctor or DSN 🙂

p.s. Oops, I just speculated - Shiv is right, better to ask the question of our healthcare team!
