I have got a tingling sensation in two fingers on my left hand. I know this is due to the Diabetes, but is there anything I can do/take to reduce the tingling? I am left handed, and am studying an Access course, which requires a lot of writing, and it's beginning to affect my writing ability. Some days it is worse than others, but I do not have the option of only studying on days when it isn't so bad as I am working to a tight schedule (even tighter now I have had a few weeks off!)

Is there a possibility it's due to the extra writing you are doing, like an RSI (repetitive strain injury)? It may be due to the diabetes and your (slowly!) improving levels causing a temporary sensation as your nerves regain their sensitivity, in which case it should go in time but could take some weeks. If it's really worrying you then do see the doctor as it may not be the diabetes causing it.

LOL...certainly not the case of over-writiing!!!
I think it is connected to the D because it's worse when my levels are high.
although, I jsut tested, i am at 8.9...so i think it might be a case like you say of becoming more sensitive. how do I know it's not long term damage and it won't go? is it just a case of wait and see.

it's not painful or anything, more annoying than anything, and when you are trying to concentrate, its very distracting.
