Since taking metformin approx 8 weeks I have tingling toes. Is this normal.?

No, that is not normal.
What are your levels like when this happens?

Phoebe hi, I haven’t checked levels yet. It’s been since I started to take metformin.

I would say it's more likely due to having diabetes and elevated glucose levels for a time prior to diagnosis rather than the metformin. Transient peripheral neuropathy causes tingling in the feet and toes but as you get your blood glucose lower and more stable the tingling will hopefully settle down. Have you got a glucose meter to check what your blood glucose levels are ?

If things don't start to improve do ask your gp.

Hi flower, no I haven’t a glucose meter however I am
going to self fund one
